School Magazine
My task was to create a new magazine for Little Heath School with a contents page. I had to use an image editing programme to create the magazine. My magazine features a picture of the 6th from centre which stays in relation with the existing magazine as that features pictures of the art block. I also used L.H.S as my title which stands for “Little Heath School” this relates to the schools “Heathsonian” as it is based in the same school.
I was looking forward to doing this task as I was confident with using Photoshop. So I approached this task in a confident manner.
I didn’t have o do a lot of problem solving as I new how to use the programme and because I created my plan I new what I was going to produce.
My final outcome was different to my drafts as I could see and use more effects and I could experiment with the different techniques. If I liked what I had created I would keep it. The plans where very basic examples which I could use however only some ides where taken from the drafts i.e.) colour scheme. It didn’t relate because its different from drawing the magazine on paper then creating it on the computer as the computer has more effects and you can create plans easier.
Technology helped a lot as it extended my creation fro the magazine. BY using Photoshop it made my magazine easier to create and I could experiment with a wide variety of tools and effects.
Technology didn’t really obstruct my creativity as nothing went wrong, as I did most of my work at home and I was comfortable with the environment I was working in. My ideas represented school life as that is what I based my magazine on. By including an image of the 6th form centre it showed the basis of the magazine, which represented school life. The text which I added on my magazine showed that school is doing well and represents the school.
There are not many changes that I wanted to change as I was happy with my final outcome. If anything, I would change some of the text placement but that is not a big issue to correct.
